pulsar 125cc 2011 uk

please can some one help me .i have just got 2011 pulsar 125 cc (uk) it has been standing in garage for last 12 months do i need to change the oil and oil filter if so how and where is the plug ? (it has only  75 miles obn clock)

welcome. I'm not much help but with 75 miles you have yourself a new scoot. Call the nearest dealer and they will tell you where the plug is. I would do a total service on it with chnaging fluids and filters and some sweet new high octane, ethanol free fuel, shaken not stirred and enjoy!

Welcome paw!  Mike's right, go to your nearest Kymco dealer and to add, the Pulsar's engine are similar to the generic Hondas 125 and 155, so if you can't find a Kymco dealer you may try other motorcycle service/repair shops and ask.  You may want to take pictures of side, front and under the engine where, for sure, the drain plug is situated.. to show to a mechanic...

OHC or OHV engine? (should be OHC being a 2011 bike)

Engine is more of less the same as a Honda XLR125.
Good engines, I fitted a 170cc kit to mine (called 170cc but nearer 160cc in reality) works quite well but I have just bought a 250cc engine to squeeze into it 
I have a workshop manual for the xlr200 (basically the same engine but bigger bore/stroke) if its any use to you?

Since fitting my 250cc engine I have a 160cc cylinder and piston for sale  

But if you don't wany more CC's start by removing you air filter/box and fit a cone type filter (less than a tenner on ebay) and at the same time fit a bigger main jet. Standard is .92 going up to .95-.97 will be good. The standard exhaust is VERY restictive. I fitted a universal megaphone type, again cheap off ebay. Simple to do and no fancy tools/skills needed.
When you have done that get a larger front chain cog, go up two sizes from what you have.

If you do all that you will have move power throughout the whole rev range and should go over 70mph.

One last thing, I found the vacuum operated fuel tap (petcock) to be crap. It works well but I found that at full throttle there is not enougth vacuum to keep it fully open so once the fuel chamber in the carb was not filled the the correct level the revs dropped 2-3 K. I fitted a manual one
