New Carb Jet
« on: September 25, 2012, 10:51:18 PM »
I installed a size 82 main jet in my carb and cut my cdi now my scooter wont start. I may have cut 2 wires instead of one in the cdi could this be the problem, also the large part of the main jet(the mixing tube i suppose) wont go down completely in the carb is it supposed to sit like that.

When you open the carb it lets most of the fuel come out the float bowl so when you go to try start it up later the float bowl has tp fill up1st, then it will start.  Same thing happened to me 1st time i changed a jet, thought i'd broken it good  :D
