Air screw on Agility 50

Hi people,

Is there a easy way to reach the air screw?
It seems impossible without taking the buddyseat off. Maybe my hands are to big

Kymco (in their infinite wisdom  ) made a hole for that - it's in the tupperware, just above the left passenger footrest.

You need quite a long and thin screwdriver, but it works really well...

Mono.....you are my hero I never noticed that little hole on the side!!

Sometimes the solution is right under my eyes.....i just need to open them

I can't find it on my 2013 agility 50 the hole which are talking about is there and we're the air fuel mixture screw should be looks like it has some kind of metal plug in it any more info would help thanks

The mixture screw is very probably behind this metal plug then...

I've heard of these hidden mixture screws before. Some manufacturers think they can setup their carbs The Only One Right Way For Everybody (tm).

Kymco also seems to fall into this category now ? 

It should be possible to carefully (not to damage the mixture screw) drill a small hole in the plug and put a screw in it, which you can grab with pliers to pull the plug out...  Just search the interweb when in doubt, I've seen some guides about this somewhere...

I have been fiding out most scoots here are now sold with the sealed carbs. that suck because if you wana get to the jets you have to hope you dont drill to far or brake the carb. So i just buy carbs that you can take apart.

Sealed carbs, restricted rear pulleys.... what next ?

It seems they're either trying to reduce the number of warranty claims, or trying to please the legislators...

The only thing they will achieve this way, is that those people who are already inclined to do maintenance and tinkering themselves will resort to more drastic tuning and modding measures, and will also have less appreciation for Kymco as a brand....

When I mess with the. Carb this week I w ill take a picture and post it that sounds like what they did. That's why I am wondering what they could possibly do to tune it if they say that the don't have to jet the carb. The only thing they could do is mes with idle screw which I all ready did

It has been confirmed today that they now plug the iar fuel mix screw with a cap and glue. I took pics but I can't figure out how to post the from my iPhone
