Would a stiffer torque spring help? Does the aftermarket clutch make a noticeable difference? I was thinking of swapping for a 150 engine in my a50 but the mounts are too different. I'll probably swap my ruckus this winter.

well threr is a lot of us running 1500 rpm  springs they seem to be better.  try 1500 torque spring and clutch spring...

have toyed with it thought of sports clutch and bell, but not heard anyone that has benifited from this enough.

I have tried multiple torque springs and it doesn't really make a whole lot of difference.
I like the new clutch and bell just seems nice and smooth/tight.
If I was in Florida or somewhere with a lot of flat roads the a50
would be great, just too many hills around me...

I cant fault my Vespa T5, goes like a rocket and eats up hills for breakfast. I love it  ;D

All metal, 4 manual gears and as a bonus i can even bump start it if i need to. Feels totally solid compared to my Agility and is like night and day riding them. Just been out today for a 3hr ride down by the coast, great fun, sits at 100km/h all day no probs.

Chaos is my co-pilot.
