good buy?
« on: October 15, 2012, 08:39:47 PM »
Hi,I just found a 2009 people 150 for sale with 6000 miles on it and was wondering if you guys think that's a good deal. (1300 dollars). Is that a lot of miles for one of these? Anything I should look out for? And what kind of speed can I expect by myself (200 lbs) or with my wife as a passenger(150 lbs) Anything you can tell me would be helpful.......Thank you....Dale

Too be honest, I'm not sure if it's a good price or not. 6,000 is nothing really if it's been taken care of. One thing I would like to mentioned...the People 150 is a smaller framed scoot. 350 lbs. would really be pushing it. If I was you, I would look @ a used People S250. Bigger bike & more HP. I would take a pass if you're doing 2-up riding myself.
