   PS   Downtown  and GT.300i are the same engine and tranny   you can check by looking up the parts on line..

Hello guys. Noticed a little klacka de klack noise from my rear clutch. Very faint noise at time. Can you see the video and let me know what you think on this?

  the original rollers are   20/ 12   15  1/2 gr.   the most popular dr. pulley sliders are 20 /12  14  gr.   I bought 14  and 15 gr. slider at the same time as I did not know which I would end up with,.

Thanks dee dee. I will try those Dr. PULLEY sliders. I guess the whole variator may not make much difference.

   your klacky clack noise is the rollers in the tranny moving around ,  the sliders do it too,. not as loud , my scoot is very quite, I just remove my hearing aids,.  very low wind noise too,. ha  ha  dont get old it gives you a pain in the butt., ,

It wouldn't be the rollers if the noise is coming from the rear clutch. Rollers are in the front end of the tranny.
