Don't forget a spot of anti-seize on the plug threads early in the life of the scoot to prevent the aluminum threads following the plug when you remove it. Learned that from an old-timer airplane mechanic.

You guys are a hoot, and I don't even have a scooter yet! I love to tinker - so will be looking under the bonnet of this thing when I get it home from the showroom. Also know enough to know I don't know squatt about vehicles, so I'm not too dangerous....Spend a lot of time looking at my Scion engines, then wipe them off and leave them be.
