It's snowing
« on: November 07, 2012, 04:55:31 PM »
It's snowing here in North Jersey, this is one of the earliest snow falls we'll ever see, but then again it is global warming right?

Two Saturdays ago there was a bit of snow here too, a day before that and all the way after that, daily temperature has been 20+ C, and we had 80 mph wind too.
In the past few days there has been river flooding in the continental part of the country because river flood wave comes from the direction of Austria and Slovenia...

The people tend to wonder about extremes, but statistics shows that they existed in the past too.

Got aboout 3" so far, would have been more like 6" but the ground was too warm early on and it melted. Glad we didn't get the 6" on the ground, it would take that much more time for it to melt and make it safe to ride again.

The snow has stopped, on Wed. I had 1,287, 306 leaves on my lawn, now there all covered over, how am I supposed to clean them up with snow all over them?

A few years ago it snowed around halloween in South Jersey and Philadelphia, so snow around now isn't new, or unusual. Global warming could be the cause, especially in the formation of hurricanes in the souther areas of the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico. Weather's been messed up for the past ten years.

I grew up mostly in upstate New York so snow around October through April was common. What we got this week we called Tuesday :)
