Here's a site that tells you how to make your own seat pan. You could give the
drivers area more room with a new pan...

In looking at the seat it looks like you would want to get rid of the Helmet bump
in the front of the seat pan to allow for thicker foam;


Maybe cut it out and add a flat plate of some sort?
