Anyone taken their 300 on Fireroads/gravel etc

As stated in the subject, just curious if anyone's taken theirs on fireroads et al, if so what's your impression of how it did?  Any issues?

Ive got a 300i dt. i rode it about 3 miles out to a highway on fresh crushed stone,. I did not go over 25 km. and it was very scittish the whole way,. and if there is deep stone on the road the scoot wants to go side ways,. ahh the joys of riding in alberta back roads,. I really liked the roads out of Victoria BC  I went thru the malahat moutain pass, what a blast!, the other road I liked was out of Oregon going south east the best twistys I have ever seen,. I wish I had a camera on the scooter for that trip,.    300i DT. the golden hawk

I've taken my 300 GTi on some dirt roads and trails.  Use as much of the same technique you would riding a dirt bike as you can e.g. be careful with your use of the front brake.  I found that it handled well on hard-packed dirt roads - much trickier on sand.  I did not ride up any significant hills (I wonder how a CVT would handle a steep hills) but downhill was fine by keeping my weight over the back of the bike.  The verticle seating position is a plus for this type of riding and it's fun.
