bet and win cold start issue

starts well in mild weather, when cold must crank for uncomfortable amount of time to start.  after first run, starts well rest of the day. what cold start componants are incorperated on this model?  what to suspect, how to test.  any help welcome thanks !

..give us a little more info on your scoot, if you will..

..like year, kilometers (miles), any mods...

...may need nothing more than a tweak to the idle mix screw on your carb...

I just keep a 75 w light bulb turned on under the seat. just need to turn it on a hour or so befor rideing.
you well need to take the bottom of the seat out so the heat gets to the carb. if your air lines and gas lines stay a little worm you should have no prolem starting.dont go no hot then a 75 w 100 well do damage. its to hot.

..well, a 4t scoot with 8000+ miles may very well be due for a valve adjustment...

Definitely check exhaust valve adjustment.

Batteries work less well in the cold too. I've replaced my battery once already, and the new one cranked a bit faster than the one it replaced. Keep it topped up regularly if the scooter gets put into storage or not run for a few weeks.

..i've always adjusted mine at whatever the ambient temps are...
