(OT:
War is the US way of practising geography. How can you expect the actual generation to find Croatia or Serbia?)

We're only transplants for Europe and we learned from you guys how to wage war, we did make it better though didn't we. I wonder how many of you would be speaking German now if it wasn't for us???

Axy, let me remind you, you’re the one holding the Axe so who is it with the anger issues?

You still owe Mike an apology.

Thanks Axey,
I will never make the mistake again about your nationality. It's so easy to remember that Croat rhymes with Goat. My wife and I entered into a very loving and considerate relationship over 30 years ago. I's called "marriage". And my "wifey" as you call her get's up every Mon-Wed-Fri at 4:00 AM and attends an "Extreme Boot Camp". She runs competitive 5-10 K's for charity on Sat mornings and plays League and Tournament tennis almost every day of the week. She could probably kick both our asses. Oh and thanks for your concern; My last total Cholesterol was 69. So low from a physiological standpoint that I asked my physician for clarification and he said it was great. HDl/LDL ratio is WNL. Afternoon BPs are usually in the 110/65 range but thanks again for asking. I'm 6'-1" and weigh 210. Just another well fed affluent American! Ce, thanks for the advice. I own property near a state park and the road in is a 2 mile + straight away. I've had the Spyder up to 60 + and no faster than that until I become proficient. It is a great toy and a lot of fun! Unlike the Xciting there are a lot of Spyder clubs and this will allow me to join and share with a lot of new friends in my riding area. On the flip side I really miss the ride from the Kymco, especially through the twisties! The weather is wet and threatening or I would be out riding today. Merry Christmas to all my Kymco friends.

Mr. Geezer it's always good to hear from you. I know that Zombie or one of the other speed builders was getting a 50cc unit built to go 100mph +. I think that just goes to show what American ingenuity can do for fun much less what we can obtain when we attempt technology for new frontiers. From what I understand you and I shared many of the huge events in our nation's brilliant moments and also times of demise when we allowed politics to drive our economy, as it does now. You were a major player in our automotive recovery and knew the right time to retire. I was Medical and Safety Supervisor for the largest water heater manufacturer in the U.S. and Canada and reduced Worker's Comp and employee health costs by substantial amounts. I took early retirement at age 55 and then formed my own company and will probably retire, retire in a couple of years. I wish you and yours Merry Christmas and a spectacular, safe, WOT New Year!!!

A merry Christmas to you.

I turned a job down in management with AO Smith who bought out State water heater in Ashland City, Tn a few years ago. One of my buddies Jim Hutzel took the materials management position for multiple locations with them. he may be retired by now. I havn't heard from him in a few years.

And have a happy new year. May the force be with you.

Actually, I speak German, Italian and English. It's a concept of "being well educated", widespread throughout Europe.
Not everywhere is like that, I know.

Axey,
Si, creo lo mismo. I hope you have enough socialized coal to throw a few extra chunks on your fire in your little socialized government apartment that you were on the waiting list for 2 years to get. It must frustrate the hell out of you to have so much education and work for your little government subbed job making ruples, er, Euros on the dollar. Happy New Year and I hope you can hurry and get in line at the shop tomorrow. I hear they will be offering good mutton and fresh cabbage if you have the correct govenment tickets.

Geez,
I worked for Rheem Manufacturing. A.O. was our biggest competition. Wanye Bander was our Plant Manager when I left. Most of those guys were Chicago relocates and instrumental in moving the operation, including Divisional, to Montgomery in an effort to prevent a union take-over. I remember back in the mid-90's the Steel Workers out of Birmingham were very aggressive in trying to Unionize us but they made very little progress due to high wages, lots of o'time and an excellent benefits package. A good snap-shot of the economy back then. Hopefully things are getting better again and we can continue to carry the world's economy on our shoulders. Happy New Year, again!

Vivo,
Time to count our blessings and get priorities straight! Right now as I write you we are under a severe tornado warning.(9:30 PM 12/25/12) We have taken shelter in our "safe room" and hoping...and praying. One confirmed death in the western states and a large tornado just touched down in Mobile, Al. This old house was built in 1975 and the timbers are shaking but seem to be holding together. The hail hitting the roof to the sunroom sounds like gunshots. Hopefully the squal line is passing and the sirens are issuing an "all clear". The most severe storm to hit the Eastern seaboard on a Christmas day. The Mayans were not too far off. All my prayers for my friends and your safety during the Hollidays.

Right Mike, let's count our blessings... and be careful out there... let's just sing my favorite childhood song and drink some rum.. ;)

Oh I come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee,

I'm going to Louisiana, my true love for to see

It rained all night the day I left, the weather it was dry

The sun so hot I froze to death; Susanna, don't you cry.

CHORUS:

Oh, Susanna, don't you cry for me

For I come from Alabama,

With my banjo on my knee.... :D

I was watching the weather last night for your area, looks bad, hold on tight and learn to float.

Axy, you'd be speaking German exclusively and by force not by choice, what you seem to over look is that if everyone of our States spoke another language we'd never have commerace as we do, you need somethig to unify you, think EU trying to model after the US.

You thinmk China isn't hel back by their people speaning so many different dialects in a country with the rough size of the US but a population 6 times greater.

There's no doubt that speaking several languages is a great help in some ways but not when it divides you as a people (not saying this is the case in your situation.

Actually, close to 90 % of people in Croatia, children and old people included, own a house or apartment here. It is a consequence of historical developments in the past. Socialized government housing argument nullified.

Last time I've checked, dollar has depreciated compared to EUR in the past ten years 70 %. Two years ago it was even worse, it lost almost double compared to EUR. Currency parity argument nullified.

Finally, 8 % of population in USA or 30 million receives welfare. Must be a heaven there. Heavenly society picture nullified.

Also I believe your president is a socialist halfling too, in his second mandate?

A little education goes a long way. Again.
