I cut myself all the time... I've been collecting knives since 1975... I luv those sharp edges.....

As a kid I cut off a little more than you did.  My dad taped it back on my thumb and put a bandage on it.  It's still there.  The scar is mostly gone.  Of course that was about 65 years ago.  I'm sure you'll be all right.  Did you save the meat you were cutting?

Most the knives I have are hunting and chef knives. (got to skin my deer meat.) and clean my fish.
