Urbestfriend congratulates you on this fine purchase. GV has been my choice for
a year or two until I picked up a used one two months ago. With 14,000 miles on my
06 Vino 125. Grand Vista is around +100 lbs. heavier. Excellent features, under
seat storage doesn't look like I'll need a trunk. Fast...I've been up to at least 78 mph.
Pick-up: Excellent...I live on a busy 5 lane state highway. Gets to 45 mph
speed limit in about 100 -200 ft. Ride is smooth, stabilty is even better. Can even
take my hands off the grips momentarily. The extra power makes high winds less scary.
Full Insurance was same as my 50 & 125 policy.
Issues: The low beam is almost perfectly rectangular. Doesn't seem to reach out far enough.
My ride in the morning is 5:00 a.m. I use the high beam which is, ok, but dim quite often
for on-coming trafiic. Looking for a pair of Yellow Sunglasses Lenses. They say they're good at night.
Trip is a heavy Deer Area.
Don't be scared to work on it. Trouble with scooters is it's hard to get to anything because everything is
hidden. Thin plastic panels are only strong once they're screwed together. Get a manual. Knowing all about it's workings is half the fun.
Notice more bugs on faceshield, windshield is lower, but one can be
found 6" taller on line. All parts can be found on-line these days.
