After this starts the Vegas HighRollers scooter Rally taking place place Feb 28-March 3rd, 2013. See everyone, it will be warm enough to begin riding in most of the U.S. Enjoy everyone. Don't forget -- Nashville's 2nd Annual Blue vs. Grey Rally (The Reconstruction), June 14-16. It'll be hot as balls, y'all.

Hey JP!
Is the Blue vs. Grey rally a "scooter" rally or are other participants permitted. Like maybe a Spyder? Nashville is straight up I-65 from Montgomery, (sort of) and that would be do-able for me. What fun!

JP, Thanks, I don't see any organized activities like this in my area even though I'm sure there are if I look hard enough but I like the idea of a "road trip" that would get me out of town for a few days. It gives it more of an "adventure" perspective and for me those are getting further apart. My last real road trip by myself was a drive from Montgomery, Al to West Palm Beach to attend a Jimmy Buffett concert and I had a great time. How many participants usually attend the Blue Grey rally and is it catered more towards scooters? Thanks again.

Well, we just have last year to compare, but we had about 150-200, all told. Sure, it's a scooter rally, but don't worry about that -- we had people show up from all around the country, some with nothing to ride at all (we found 'em stuff to ride). Lots of rides, eating, drinking (after the riding is done) and laughs.

JP, this is a pretty good turnout. It should not matter how many scooterists there are. Its all about showing up to the event and having a good time. I know the Las Vegas HighRollers Scooter Rally is one of the largest in the U.S. I would say from facebook, we have anywhere from 450 to about a 1,000 scooterheads showing up from not just from the U.S, but from all over the world. the Brits always love coming to Vegas.  Happy riding everyone. 8)

Nashville sounds like it would be a lot of fun for an old Parrothead. Hopefully I will see you there!

For those of you in the U.S. Kymco USA will be at the Vegas HighRollers Scooter Rally. They will also be at the Sportsman's expo taking place the same weekend as the rally at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Come to Vegas for a rocking good time. The wheather forecast has temps in the low seventies for daytime highs with clear blue skies. It truly will be great riding weather.

Today (Sunday) is the last day of the Vegas HighRollers Scooter Rally as it comes to close later on tonight. The rally has been great with temps in the mid 70's for riding. We went up to the world famous Mountain Springs Saloon on Friday. On Saturday we went out to the Boulder City Brew Pub. Sunday we do a short ride and then come back for scooter games over at the Arts Factory in Downtown Vegas. All of you who ride scooters need to experience at least one rally in your life. Kymco USA is one of the major sponsors of this rally and they have been great. Happy riding peeps.

JP: What an OUTSTANDING Nashville scooter promo! I felt like I was watching a Civil War documentary on PBS or the History Channel! Well done & thanks for posting that! Really good stuff!

I too love the promo for this scooter rally. If I did not know about scooters, it would appear this was a civil war documentary. This s good stuff.

Thanks, folx; we have some clever monkeys in our marketing division (heh).  This was done by Jason Hancock and Ed Lambert, both of whom are active participants @ scootnashville.com and with most of our activities.

Starring, of course, William Samuel Cardin, or "Willy," as most know him... and his lovely wife, whom I call "Dr. Mrs. Willy." Ed wrote the script and did the voiceover... the man has a thousand voices and nearly as many accents.  Naturally, he works in radio. Jason provided the video editing and the rally logo, and is a corporate sponsor of the rally again this year (Hancock Supply Co.).

We're hoping to put out another few of these in coming weeks... I'll drop 'em by as they roll out.
