Hard to start after sitting this winter... any fire up tips?

So I haven't been running the ag 50 much this winter. I was at least starting it every week or two and running it some... Now I haven't been able to get it to turn over for a few weeks. I have never used the kick start just the electric. I'm wondering if there is anything I could do besides making sure the battery is charged (it is). I have a new spark plug I might try... Is there anything I could spray in the carb or any other suggestions to get this puppy purring again?

change all the gas lines and the filter and clean the carb. If you let gas sit to long you may have to drain the tank and start with fresh gas.................

Well where are you located? Is the battery kept warm? Do you use a maintainer on it?
You could jump start it off another vehicle but do not have the other vehicle running.
Just jump the batteries and start her up!

Try to start the scoot with the e-start and crank it at a same time. That will ease the starter motor.

Update... Well I think I was flooding the engine when trying to start it. I finally tried just holding the brake and hitting the electric start and not giving it any gas and it fired right up, after trying to start for a while. I had been giving it full throttle trying to get it going. Maybe this could help someone else in the future!  Thanks all!

All modern cold engines with carbs start best if the throttle is closed and the choke is applied 1/2 or full.....
A general rule to start from  (is that a good pun ?)

Opening the throttle defeats the function of the choke.

If an engine is flooded, then opening the throttle with NO choke, will aid clearing out the excess gas in the cylinder.
Just be sure that the scooter is on the center stand and the rear wheel is off the ground.
