Good Feeling Today!

Well....Pick-up my Kymco GTI300 from the dealer's warehouse (I have no garage so she stayed dry & heated for the Winter) Installed the battery in the parking lot (kept it in my basement on a float charge) 1st pass she started without a hiccup! Great feeling crusing home for a 12 mile trip in 50 degree weather. Looks like we'll see these boards pick-up real soon. I'm pumped!

Quick update. I noticed a couple of hours after I got home that I had 3 long major deep scratches on my front fender. I took out some "Collinite Fleet Wax" too see if I could get rid if of them. No dice. Thought right away it was my dealer that created them. Before I called...I contacted my wife @ work...She fessed-up & told me she dropped some firewood that landed on the fender before I took her in for storage!!! Wasn't happy...but didn't freakout. Called my local Kymco dealer & was relieved to find out the part costs $59.00 & comes painted in Silver! Looks like an easy job to pop-off the old one & install it.

At least my wife came clean & also that Kymco parts are not super expensive!!! The dealer called me within an hour & told me the part was in stock in South Carolina? All is well.

You guys are too funny! When we 1st got married (in 92') I was making most of the money, then she scored an insane job (she's a financial analysis) & now she makes 3 1/2 times more coin then me! No worries. The part is short-money. I did tell her from here on out...I'll be taking in the firewood for the Winter!

Mary K: You're so correct! It's a whole new ball-game today & I'm all for it! Just installed the new front fender. Easy enough. I had to take the two side reflectors off & re-install them to the new fender. Couple of minutes later...I was done! We must admit...Kymco does pretty well with it's parts. I know SYM & Piaggio/Aprilla has their issues @ times. I'll admit...It took over 6 weeks to get a speedometer cable for my Kymco People S200 a few years back, but it didn't sideline me in any way.
