...mine came with 9 gr...and that was way too much...initial take-off was ok, however between 25 and 40 mph, accelleration was very slow...and climbing even slight inclines brought me down to 30 mph...I removed three of the rollers, and wow!...what a difference....my engine revs higher than ever, accelleration all the up to 40 is awesome, I top out at 50+ down some good size hills...and climbing those same hills I rarely drop below 38...The Malossi variator also came with a longer main clutch spring...I'm still studying the effects of what that different spring causes...

...well..it gives me a total of 27 grams...1/4 ounce..lol...

..I weigh about 230 lbs...soaking wet...

..from what I've learned here..I would suspect you need something less than that..

..say around 21 or 24....

..And I'm not sure if a three roller combo, or a 6 roller combo would work better....

..there are more factors at work here...have you ever adjusted your valves?

the problem w/ removing weights is you are making the remaining weights do all the work, meaning faster wear. put in lighter weights to get the same effect, unless you like to tinker w/ them alot.

different names for different applications (same purpose, and effect)
