... Long time lurker, first time poster. I made one of the fatal rookie mistakes by allowing my inexperienced brother try and ride the brand new scoot. He "forgot" it was automatic, and tried to use the grips to roll it off the center stand and into the street. Next thing I know, the thing takes off, dragging him alongside it and slams into the ground after traveling around 15 feet. He was lucky to walk away with some minor scrapes. The new agility was not so lucky. Smashed rear fender, gouges all down the left side, right rear turn signal hanging off, and various lines hanging off the bottom dripping fluid out. Its already back at the dealer and I'm waiting on an estimate to get her back to new. Let this be a lesson to us all, NEVER let Anyone ride your new scoot. Especially when they're inexperienced.
