Hello, My purchase of a new scooter is down to Agility 125 and the Like 200i.
Need experienced advice.
I plan to run my scooter in town, no more than 35 mph, 3 -5 miles to work only. But will be using it in ALL weather (except snow/ice covered streets) ALL year around. The Kymco and I will be out in the weather all day while I'm at work.
{Small question> what are good locking devices & do I need a cover?}
BIG QUESTION: How will the carbureted Agility respond to these weather conditions - compared to the fuel-injected Like 200i(which I am told is not much bothered by adverse weather due to EFI) ??
My salesman says lack of EFI is not an issue to be concerned with.
I will be pulling the trigger on the Agility ($2436 OTR) or the Like200i ($3185 OTR) likely this w/e.
Also, comments on my prices appreciated. Thes guys have a good rep - but also a rep for not 'dealing' on their stuff.
Thank you kindly........
I did almost 13k miles (20.000km) on my Agiliy in just over a year, and that included sub-freezing temperatures,
and even some light snow (1/2"). It was ridden daily and it never missed a beat, so there is really no issues with that.
That said, the Like 200i is smoother, starts even better, is considerably faster (30-50mph for example), top speed is just
slightly higher but you said that doesn't matter, and you'll get better MPG figures out of the Like, especially at low speeds.
Also, the Like has a bigger seat and more room for legs/knees, and a bigger underseat storage if I remember
correctly.
If you can afford the Like, I'd take that, but you can't go wrong with either.
