Oil level on like 50 2t

Just picked up my like 50 2t. How do I check the proper oil level, is there a dipstick or do I just fill it up? I don't have a manual and doesn't appear to have much oil in it. Please help, much appreciated.

You have a 2-stroke engine, right. A 2 stroke engine uses gasoline and oil mixture for fuel in which the oil acts as the lubricant also. You don't have a separate crankcase oil. 4-stroke engines have a separate crankcase oil. Google on how engines work... please...

Hello Leesir, I believe the Like 50 2T is OIL INJECTED. There is a pump which automatically adds oil to the carb inlet at the engine intake . That means you do not need to add it to the gas. There should be a small tank in which you put two-stroke oil. You only need to fill the tank the pump does the rest. It may be near the gas filler or elsewhere on the scoot. Of course you need to make sure that the oil tank is kept topped up otherwise you will seize the engine! Enjoy the scoot. Len
