Turn signals don't blink
« on: April 15, 2013, 02:31:21 PM »
Just pulled my Venox out of mothballs after a really cold winter. Started on the first crank, but signals, while they came on , did not blink. Thinking that the blinker may be like a large capacitor I reasoned that the battery was low and couldn't support flashing blinkers while at idle, so I charged the battery for an hour with a Tender...and I have blinking signals again. Worked for me , so if you have a similar issue try charging the battery!

BTW is Kymco making the Venox anymore. i know they are not importing into the States at this time, but it seems like just the moment to import this great little bike (60mpg).

It is always best for the battery life to be kept in a full charge state over the storage period.
Or at least charge it before you resume using the scooter.

I think you can still grab some Venox still new in crate if you ask the dealer. They might have to be shipped around.
