Agility 125 spark plug
« on: April 21, 2013, 09:08:11 PM »
Ok, I'm getting frustrated with my Agility 125. I'm hoping someone can provide some guidance, because while I can use a computer like a champ, I'm a dumbass mechanically lol
My scoot is trying to turn over. I took the spark plug out (it was dark on one side, oddly), cleaned it a bit, placed it back in, and it still won't start. It's getting gas, and occassionally sounds like it wants to fully turn over (noise gets deeper).
I'm assuming that the spark plug is gone. I'm trying to find another one, but Amazon and Walmart do not stock them (Walmart is local, and I get free overnight shipping from AMazon).
I can't find the spark plug on the makers website, either.
I'm a bit confused as to what do to here. I want to just swap out this spark plug and hope that it fixes the issue.

Is there a replacement for the Champion P-RZ9HC spark plug?

Have you verified spark and valve lash?

Thank you both! Turns out, it wouldn't turn over due to the spark plug. A new NGK took care of that.
However, now I have an inconsistent idle. It's a smooth idle, but seems kind've weak. As soon as I try to give the scoot any gas, it stalls. I was having issues with this last year, but it figured itself out.
Any ideas?

Ok, I might be getting it back to normal. I adjusted the idle screw, and now it's responsive. However, I cannot sort out this faint up and down idle. It's somewhat constant. No matter what I do with the idle screw, it stays. The scoot, at this point, has been running for about a half hour straight without an issue. Perplexed as to what to do next....

if the up and down idle is only when its cold, then its normal.
