Kymco parts/reputable dealer
« on: April 30, 2013, 09:47:35 PM »
I have been searching online for a drive belt for my GTi300.
Would like to have one on hand before it is needed, or in case of a broken belt.
Cannot find an online store without gimmicks.
Prefer a store with phone number, parts in stock, item priced, and accepts credit/debit cards.

Any ideas?.

You might try 2wheelpros.com.  I recently ordered a Kymco original speedometer cable and air filter for my p150 from them.  The price was right and they shipped the correct parts on the first try!

Ya you have to call for the belt order  ,. at stadium the belt cost me 98.00   at my local dealer the cost was $165.00,.  powersports warehouse is a little cheaper than stadium ,. the price of belts gos up and down from the suppliers,.  your belt size should be    1004 mm. x25.2 mm. 30 degree angle same as 300i downtown

Thanks for the information de dee.
I don`t understand why they do not post "in stock" and price like they do all the other items.

The number of dealers stocking parts is probably few and far between.  Kymco 123 told me they only stock nuts, bolts and
screws.   These days to inventory parts can be a costly venture.  I just ordered the stator and rectifier for my Xciting 250.  I always make a point to compare parts for both the Xciting and my GV.  Both have 250cc  GY-6 engines.  Beyond this the sliders, belts, rectifier and stator are different.  Brake Pads however are the same and this is a part that may be found more easily in stock.  It's too bad because Kymco does not manufacture each individual part,  but source them from other
suppliers.  That is... some parts may be interchangeable with Yamaha or Honda.  You have to find someone really well
versed in that though.   Also remember,  your internet part may be cheaper,  but there's shipping and taxes on top of that.
I have used Stadium Yamaha with good success,  but beware most parts take a week or two to get.
