Nice looking bike! But am I the only one who'd worry about getting impaled on one of those spikes on the top of the windscreen? I can't recall ever seeing a screen design quite like that.

"ch" is a French notation for "HP". It is an abbreviation of "chevaux", which means "horses"; therefore, the bike is 28 HP. If you remember the iconic Citroen 2CV car, it was "deux chevaux", or two horsepower.

Mike: It's has to be. Looks @ the specs. Exact match to the DT300i. Funny the GTi300 has 28.7HP

It is not clear whether they measure BHP (brake horse power) or WHP (wheel horse power)
Brake Horse Power is measured at the flywheel of the engine on an engine dyno.  While wheel horse power is measured at the drive wheels on a chassis dyno.  Using the same exact engine with the exact specs on different vehicles will have different wheel horse power readings.

I'm sorry, but every one of these space kid cadet scooters look the same to me- they just do them up in different colors and add graphics sometimes.

Kymco, and others do sculpt nearly every inch of these things - lots of deep folds and pointy bits -  but they all look the same when you squint a bit.
Maybe, like VW used to do - all scooter companies should just approach the Italians (or the French) and pay them to design their scooters (and motorcycles)
Somebody needs to think outside the box here.........

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

It looks to me that there is not much leg room. Look at the riders leg position in the 3rd picture in the original post. The riders knees are higher than his @ss and are pretty much touching the front part of the "cockpit" area. Maybe it just looks that way because of the angle of the bike.

IMO Kymco makes there scoots sized for smaller people. Before I bought my People I sat on some Likes and my knees were almost hitting the handle bars. Very uncomfortable and completely ruled them out for me. I'm not huge either - 205 lbs, 6 ft. 1 in. tall, and 34 in. inseam.
