Scooter Wash...

What do you guys use in cleaning your ride?  Shampoo? Micro fiber cloth? Wool Mitt? Sponge? Leather Chamois? PVA Chamois? old rag?

I use car shampoo and soft sponge for most areas... an old tooth brush for those hard to reach places, coconut brush for the tires and under fenders...  I dry it off with a shammy... 

For quick cleaning light dirt, I use Bike Clean... just spray and wipe off with cotton cloth...

Car shampoo and old tee shirts - a microfiber mitt  to wash the tupperware and windshield.  A soft tire brush for the wheels.  Then dry off with a shammy.  Turtle wax trim restorer to make the black plastic black as needed - 1-2 times a year.

Just rags and dish soap and a good rinse. sometimes ill take it threw a do it your self gar wash.

I go to the local self service car wash and use Purple Power degreaser to wash the tires. I use cold water and some paper towels to dry my baby.

I use an automotive cleaning sponge from Target in a bucket with dishsoap & water.

Wipe clean with an old tshirt but I've upgraded to linen cleaning cloths

So far, several here had mentioned as using dish soap to wash their scoot... Dish soap is very good in cleaning, but they are formulated to strip away oil and grease and will likewise strip off the wax on your scoot.   I wax my scoot to make it shine that makes rainwater bead and slide off... using dish soap will strip my wax and un-protect my paint...  Using a car shampoo or just plain water will wash only the dirt and not the wax.

Yes, S100.. and yes...not cheap....   The difference between car and motorbike is that a car has a large area covered with paint while a motorcycle, you have painted areas, plastic, rubber, chrome, bare metals, etc.  A cleaner may be good on paint but not on rubber or metal...
