..pics of my... 3 roller excursion...
« on: July 16, 2009, 12:24:22 AM »
...pic on th' left depicts a flat spot on my roller...the bright area in the center of the middle roller is a reflection of my flash off a flat area...pic on the right is the same roller...a bit different lighting...approximately 180 degrees from the flat spot...

..what impressed me the most, was the amount of heat that the variator retained, even after nearly 1 hour of down-time before I tore into this today...

...if i've ever come across as promoting a 3 roller set-up..just call me stupid...i've probably reduced the life of my brand=spanking new Variator by 1/2...

peace

To be honest, I do not see a flat spot?

Question, I have ordered for my A125 6 14g rollers and 6 11 g rollers. I got an advice to put 3x14 g and 3x11 g for maximum performance, alternating. What is your opinion?

Seems to me that would be the same as running 12.5g rollers.  Am I wrong?  That would be cheaper than having to buy 2 sets also.

You have them on ebay, 5-10 US$ per package depending on dimensions + 3 US$ shipping.
