Like VIVO mentioned - I think this is an oil cooler on a LIKE out 'east.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I see that the oil cooler has caught the attention of a bee as well.

That might be worth considering. Anyone know who sells those in the states?

Another point....   due to additional plumbing and the oil cooler itself, the system can now hold more volume of oil in the scooter... that's an additional plus factor.   If my scoot requires 800cc of oil, I may now increase it to 1000 cc...   :)

Good point, Vivo. More oil pumping through the system is a good thing.

Years ago I put an oil cooler on my Honda 750. Big difference when riding through the mountains.

One problem of this set-up is that we can not really tell what pressure the oil will be if we install this cooler.  There's a possibility of a pressure drop because of the additional plumbing and that will result to a big problem... Maybe the best is to figure out a place nearest the engine to avoid pressure drop...

This one has a fan...
