New Color Photo REPAIR MANUAL Now Available for LIKE 200i
« on: June 07, 2013, 07:40:13 PM »
Hello,
Spoke with these folks yesterday - then purchased their online repair manual for the KYMCO LIKE 200i. Paid by paypal and received it promptly
http://www.cyclepedia.com/
""The CYCLEPEDIA PRESS LLC KYMCO Like 200i Scooter online service manual features detailed, full-color photographs and wiring diagrams, complete specifications with step-by-step procedures performed and written by a veteran dealer trained scooter technician.""
Nice color photos, American made, newly released.
Price for lifetime subscription is $42.95 --- which is about 27 minutes of shop time at my dealer.
If you need portions of the manual I can copy the photos & instructions and paste with a message here on this forum.
We probably ought to get over on the technical section to do that - but use this section to message me.

I am wondering how many sheets of paper would be required to print the manual out.  I think I prefer print to looking at a screen. :-\

Does it say what to torque the variator nut at? I just stripped mine and am waiting for the new one.

I'm trying to figure out how to get at the front body lights (not the headlight or stem signal lights). Have unscrewed the eight screws supposedly holding the front inside panel (within which resides the glove box)and the black panels inside the gove box. In neither case could I get the panels to budge. Anything in the manual about this?

A start is to go in the glove box, remove the small black panels on each side. Then with a flash light you can see the bulb holders  & wires you mention. Small hands can get in there. There are several previous posts for removing the front panels on the LIKE.
