Thanks Cortez! I see now. So did you add oil to the old one after 4500kms? I think I know why the engine from my old scooter blew up lol. It didn't have any oil because I left it for a long time.
I didn't add any oil because I never went that long between changes.
The point is, at 4500, there's probably some missing, and the difference between minimum and maximum is 0.1l, or half
your average glass of water so that can be a bit dangerous.
The oil in this engine (again, because of lack of filtering and low capacity) gets very dirty even at the 2000km mark.
If you won't change oil as often as you should, at least check it every 1000km and add some if there's any missing.
You should change it AT LEAST every 3000km.
It's easy to do and doesn't cost more then $10 with top quality oil.
