First day of summer, who is riding today?

I ride year round, just less in the winter.  I rode about 125 miles yesterday and will do about that today.  No commute as I have been retired since 2003, just random riding around enjoying my scooter and the Alabama scenery.

So who else will be riding today and what part of the world are you in?

Just back in from riding. Didnt go too far, only a 30-40 mile round trip down to my mothers and back. Bonus was she had soke nice fresh cream and chocolate cakes in waiting for me too 

Ride most of the year myself too.

You know...I'm so bummed out. This isn't a bad thing.....but we own a new boat (which we had built last year) & we live 2 blocks away from our mooring. If it's nice out, my wife & I go boating every weekend. I'm simply not putting any miles on my GTi300 @ all. Maybe I've done at ad over 200 miles since April. Pretty bad if you ask me. The problem is...I won't take my scooter out even if I had one beer! Those are my rules & I stick to them. When I get back from the boat, I have had a few beers & I won't take the GTi300 out. I'll be headed out riding in about an hour. I plan to ride for an hour or two before picking the kids up from summer camp.

Like most weekdays that aren't holidays, I clocked about 55 miles on the PCX, commuting from West Nashville to La Vergne, TN, and back again.

And I turned 50, today.

The wife is going to a memorial service tomorrow so I will go riding again!  The spot I want to go is 74 miles away so it looks to be a 150 mile day. I might hit the mileage for my next service this week...

I left Wednesday morning with a Harley friend and we took a 500 mile trip beginning in southwest Indiana, going up to Vincennes and riding across the state on Highway 50. We came back home today, doing about 200 miles. No rain at all and we took our time to see the local sights and enjoy the twisty sections of road.

   300i downtown 2011     28,000 km. in march 2013,.    just turned 33,000 km this week out everyday it isnt raining,. finished my seat and tested not to bad,  did a few 200 mile days, none stop riding , and the butt held up,.  I go 200 miles between fillups, when I do a test ride,.  69 mpg,. and 70 mpg.,  on open roads in the country,.
