I'm back!
« on: June 29, 2013, 08:42:00 PM »
Hi all, I haven't posted lately because a couple of weeks ago I underwent quadruple by-pass surgery on my heart! I have NEVER had any indication of trouble and all of a sudden whammy. I won't be able to ride for at least 6 weeks and I am chomping at the bit. Cheers...LEN

WOW!....glad you are still with us.  Sad to hear you can't ride for a while, but at least you will be able to ride again.  Take care of your ticker, man.

I have had three heart attacks myself. It is a miserable thing to go through.
We wish you well and a speedy recovery.
Scooter time will be good for you.

Thank you for the good wishes. I feel pretty good considering. Not exactly the summer activity I had in mind.

G'day Big Blue ... Like Bleys and Boo, glad to hear you're okay sport. Bet that blew your little socks off though. Anyway, you just be a good lad, take it easy, and do what the doc tells you, and you'll be back in the saddle before you know it.
Best regards, Hairy Bob.

Welcome back big blue I also am geting up there in my years and I would love to ride as long as I can. Have been thinking of geting a trike but Dont care for the balance on theam you would think they would be better for older folks. I took a few for a ride but when the speed on theam gets up over 40 they are hard to stear. So it looks like 2 wheels for me. Be stong and safe and happy rideing.

Congratulations! hope speedy recovery. You are now a member of a very select club, Kymco riders with by-pass surgery.
I had a tripple by-pass at the Miami Va in 2005 after 4 heart attacks and 6 stents. So best of luck.

Glad you're okay Big Blue! Scooter therapy in 6 weeks? Sounds like something to work towards! Take care of yourself and go to bed at night dreaming of those two wheels and the open road!

This place seems like the hospital wing forum instead of a scoot forum, one guy gets hit another quad by pass, I fell and hurt my back that am still recovering from, what's up with us old guys?
