owners manual falling apart

I have looked through the owners manual a few times.  It is about one month old and the pages are falling out of it.  Come on Kymco!  The manual should last for years, not days.  I hope you put more thought into designing the scooter.  I know I can download the manual but I like to read before bedtime and a nice clean owners manual that doesn't fall apart isn't too much to ask.  This manual has cheap China junk written all over it.

You will never become a "Real Biker" if you read the owners manual.   

It sound like you are a heavy reader.   

No solution except to vent and then download & print another copy of the manual.

I do agree that it would be useful to have a sturdy manual with useful photos and directions.... without the Chineese

Thanks MaryK.  I was just venting,  I was showing my grandson about maintenance.  He thought you could just buy a new scooter and drive it forever without any maintenance.  The pages had been falling out already but when I grabbed it, a section of 5 pages fell out and then I didn't really want to give it to the grandchild to shuffle up even worse...I did it anyway and organized later. But the manual shouldn't be such a piece of crap.

Mine fell apart too. I'd say the first week I had the scooter. I just used a heavy duty stapler and put it back together again.  It's not pretty, but the pages aren't going to fall apart again.

Mine started falling apart so I took it to local printer and had them spiral bind it with heavier covers. Problem solved for $8!

Cool idea!
I had to reprint log pages (with lines) for each of my DIY services.
Keeping track of oil changes, valves, etc.
I'm impressed with you finding and reading 6 year old posts!!
BTW - Ive been using wide packing tape on my manual.
Also, VIVO above, is the best guy...
He convinced me to buy my LIKE200iLX for 365 work commuting...and purchasing City Grips at 400 miles!

Actually I am having to wait on a new title being issued before being able to transfer to me, register, inspect, etc. and actually ride the thing.  So I am improving the time by learning to do all my maintenance myself.  (The weather is helping too.)  These old posts are a wealth of info; thank you so much for posting so much good gouge, Stig!
