My agility is having trouble starting mainly after it has already been started it seems to have more trouble if it has already been warm for a minute but it doesn't really seem to matter all that much. It all started after i opened the carburetor up to put a new jet in and put a washer around the needle to raise it a bit (someone at a dealer recommended this to perhaps improve performance). Now after it has been started once it doesn't want to easily start again until it sits for a while. It doesn't seem like the auto choke, unless its malfunctioning. I may have damaged something with my in-experience but not sure runs fine otherwise. Please help.

I could be wrong as regards to your particular carb, but I don't think that the main jet and raising the needle will have any effect on the carb until you hit at least half throttle.  The main jet and needle don't come into play until this point.  I would check the idle and mix screws.  They may need to be slightly readjusted, shouldn't be much though.  Also, if you messed with the needle height, check the throttle cable tension.  When I messed with mine the slide wasn't dropping all the way back down.

I took the washer out so the needle is back to original now and I've been playing with the fuel/air screw but it doesnt seem to do anything when i turn it it doesnt idle faster or slower when i turn it I dont know whats goin on. Im starting to get frustrated, but it doesnt seem like its the air/fuel screw. Could it be fuel system or ignition system I just replaced the ignition coil but after I started having this problem.

It is probably related to the fuel system, not electrical/ingnition.  I would start by checking the autochoke.  If you unplug the connector and measure the resistance between the two wires it should be no more than 5 ohms.  From there i would check the fuel lines starting at the carb and working back to the tank.  Is the float bowl full?  Pull off the fuel line from the carb and the vacuum line from the intake manifold.  Suck on the vacuum line and make sure there is good fuel flow out of the fuel line.  Check the fuel filter.  Check the screen/filter between the petcock and the tank.  If all of this is in good shape check the air filter.  Make sure you are getting good air flow.  It could be choking out after the auto choke opens.  If it still won't run, move onto the electrical/ignition system.  Starting with the spark plug and working backwards.  Let us know what the results are.

I recently had a similar problem. I replaced the fuel filter, dis-assembled my carb, cleaned with a spray contact cleaner..every port...Never saw any trash, but when I re-assembled everything, all was fine.

..I went riding this past sunday, all over the county, and encountered a cpl of gravel roads. All was fine until I parked overnight...The next morning I fired my scoot up...let it warm up a bit and shut it off. Went back out 5 minutes later and she would not run...Pumping the throttle would push a little fuel from the accellerator pump, but after that it would not run...So, I dis-assemble the carb, and wow....

...Very dirty....

..Upon further inspection, I found a small slit in my air filter...

Thanks for all your help guys I really appreciate it I guess I'm newer to combustion engines than I thought. I also talked to a guy at the dealership I bought it from, he suggested it couldt be the #85 jet I installed rather than the stock #82. He said the #85 is for running in cold weather only, so I'm gonna start by putting the old one back and looking over the fuel system like you suggested. Again thanks for your guys help.

..wow...stock #82??...mine has the original jet....it says K80 on it.....

..sounds like its time for another upgrade!!!!!

replace your fuel lines . the line going from the tank to the gas filter should be bigger then the one from the filter to the carb. but not buy much. the lines do go bad after time.any auto store should have gas line . sale buy the foot.

I had the same problem.  Three things that might help:
Don't use old container gas that has been sitting around.
Switch to high test.
If the starter spins the motor faster and faster but does not kick in, try twisting the accelerator at the same time adding just a little gas.  That always works for me.

The dealer here wanted $85 for a new auto choke.  I have seen them online for $25 -$35.
