rain rain go away
« on: July 10, 2013, 07:49:58 PM »
please come another day.
I love a pleasant rain without lightning or high winds but, i`m getting more than I want this year.
Seem weather forecasters are calling for rain EVERY day in my area.
Don`t cha just hate paying insurance and watching the summer go by?.

Rain gear . Fun no but at least I ride.
In Florida it's a daily rutine.

May dry days come your way.

I still ride most days. I got wet once or twice but consider it is practice for when I get
stuck out in the rain. Sure is wet this year though!

I feel your pain. Here in Vermont we're setting monthly rain records. We had our first dry day in 18 days yesterday, but the humidity was so awful people couldn't do anything anyway.

Wet again today. Twice!
BOTH times it was dry when I started - armored mesh jacket on but rain liner and pants under the seat - had my coffee while it warmed up at o'dark thirty, smiling cause it was dry for a change,  and in half a mile it came down again. The rain-wax I'm using on the face sheild is paying for itself - no fun in the dark and rain without it!

Getting smarter - cell phone and wallet under the seat - don't care what the weather man says ~!
Scooter never has a chance to get dirty since I'm wiping it down twice a day.
No issues scoot vs rain.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I left manchester NH.this morning in the rain ,. it rained all the way to vermont, dryed up for a few hours, then rained again for a while in new york, just starting to dry up and rained as I got close to Ottawa , just glad it waw not raining while waiting at the border,. 3/4  hour to get through,  that givi screen helped keep the rain off me at speed,.  still,  good to be home and dry again,.  after a 8 hour ride ,.

Riding in rain is very difficult task, that risky also. That time there is lots of chances there to fell down and skip on the roads, so maximum i don't prefer riding when rain is coming.
