How many Gallons(or liters) will the fuel tank hold

I  have an 08 Kymco Xciting.  My fuel tank seems to hold around 2.5 gallons.  I could have swore it said 3.3 in the book?  Confirm that for me please.

I think my tank was actually replaced with a smaller tank at one time but can't prove it.  Weird I know.

My owners manual says the tank holds 3.3 gallons.  I refill on empty every time look at my fuelly numbers. 2.2 gallons, 2.35 gallons never 3.3 gallons.

It's exactly 3.38 gallons. When my gauge hits the top of red area, I have used exactly 2 gallons on the nose. My idiot light comes on at around 140 or so miles. & at  that time I have 1/2 gallon left in tank.

These are similar numbers to what I am putting into the tank.  I am not sure where Sissy Mary is getting her #'s from. The most I've been able to fill the tank up with was 2.75 gallons.

My numbers match Sissy Mary's almost exactly. (2013 xc500)

12.8 litres (according .de manual) = 3.38 gallons
As I avoid to push my heavy scoot, my refilling record is only 12.04 litres = 3.18 gallons.

when i refill i usually get 3 gallons almost everytime. i ride it a little when the light comes on.
