« on: July 26, 2013, 02:47:32 AM »
I have a 07 ac super 9 I also have a 04 lc motor. Also all the parts to make the lc motor to work. My questions are will the 04 motor fit my 07 also are the electronics the samew on both bikes?

All the help would be appreciated there's not a lot of info on this conversion.

Hey guys,
Sorry for any delay on response. I had done the same thing. Look at my thread "purple haze"..
The wiring harnesses are DIFFERENT
The frames are basically the same.... The A.C. frame is 19mm shorter--7mm narrower--11?mm longer...
It doesn't sound like much but you can dam sure tell when side by side. Haze looks like a baby compared to Widow...lol

I mean think of this; LC has wires for the thermostat.
The CDI wires are actually different...

Well that could be a problem. I payed 150 for it. Its a rolling frame with motor with compression, radiator and hoses. But no wire harness. The only wires are the ones off the stator and starter. I thought i could use my wire harness with some modification?  Do you think i payed to much and am i in trouble witb this before i get started?

Thanks for your info and help batman

..yup, batman is dead on....

..wiring is different on a or lc...

..also, the 2005 and 2008 lc scoots do not have the same wiring.....

I've looked at both wire diagrams. The only difference I can fine is the lc has a tack and a temp light in the dash. From what I can see the wires off the lc stator are the same as the ac stator. It should have all the same electronics and the plugs are the same. Looks like it will plug right in.
