Adding Brake Fluid S 250
« on: August 08, 2013, 07:46:51 PM »
How in the world do you remove all the housings around the handle bars to add brake fluid? Ive removed 6 screws and it flexes a little but I cant get it to come apart. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Find an exploded view of the parts from an OEM parts eller and look at the picturs of these parts.
My LIKE handlebar covers had screws then 3 clips across the top holding it together. I used a pizza roller knife to gently  pry the clips apart. See my posting for the brake fluid add I recently did. Pix ther.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I haven't had to do it yet on my S250, but everything I've read says you start with the floor board and remove plastic until you get to the handlebar covers.   You must do the same thing to get to the back of the S250 (tail light area).    I hope when I get into things this winter it's not really that bad.
