Flooding! Badly!
« on: August 18, 2013, 03:26:09 AM »
Greetings! I have a 2011 agility 50 with no mods of any kind. It started running a bit sluggish so I pulled/cleaned the carb, changed the plugs and oil and put it all back together. Now I have a new and daunting problem. Flooding. Massive flooding. I drove it around the block, it stalled while out and wouldn't restart. Brought it home to discover gas in the oil, cylinder totally flooded etc. I suspect it's the auto choke but haven't gotten a replacement yet. Figured I would bounce the question off of the forum brains and see what ideas you guys have.... Also the electric start went out in the same series of events..... Though I assume that's the relay

Thoughts?

This  suggest a continuous flow of fuel(without being metered)

so I pulled/cleaned the carb,
You should first check the service manual and double check your hoses etc for correct fitting.
check the fuel bowl configuration/float valve.

Flooding like you say is caused by trash in the float seat/float valve.
