What Did You Do To Your Scooter This Week?

I made a luggage rack,  added a bicycle rack to it.  Last week I repainted it, changed oils, added a magnet to the filter screen. Next week new muffler...shocks....windshield....the farkling has begun.

I'm in my 2nd hundred hours on the seat rebuild on my LIKE - gassed it up and rode it all w/e. 
Tossed the stock seat back on then hit BIG fog this morning going to work in the dark - had to take the short route. Cannot see for the visor misting over, then my glasses if I lift the visor. Did get to use my 2 red LED blinkers on the back in the fog.
Rain no issues.....fog is a big problem, won't bead and run off.

I changed the foam in my seat to rebond foam, the part where I sit,. and moved the back rest back about 5 inches,  and put a rear ward slope in the foam, so I do not get that wedggy feeling,  and wider where I sit,  and my DNA filter is installed , I find the engine is smoother and pick up better,  all the way to 80 mph.  last week I traded the tread bare tires for pilot power pure tires,at 38,000 km.  after that, keep on riding , its later than you think!

This week - rode her to work, washed her, took my wife for a ride on her, took pictures of her, and rode her to work again.  She didn't complain once - I wish my wife would learn that :).

LOL...my wife actually is a great cook....my scooter, not so much.  And my wife is not really a complainer, but she was a little jealous when I first got my scooter.  Now that I bring her along, she likes the scooter too and was surprised by it's speed and comfort.

   Lightened the rollers by two grams using a round file and digital scale ( probably around 4.5g now if my scale is accurate )
   Pulled carburator to check main jet size ( #80 ), and removed pilot plug, and cut slot in screw for easy adjusting.
   Cut the cdi ( wire was red )
   Longer tube for bowl vent on carburator ( keep engine clean )
   Changed oil again
   Rode about 160 km

   made a new plate for the top box,. H.D. alum. do not need struts ,.  it replaces the grab bar. and bolts in place of it,. if I had more money I would do one in stainless steel for top box and side boxes,
