Curious as to why you chose the 15 gm over 14 gm ?.
Thinking about changing mine too when it is time to replace belt.
Cannot decide which weight.

Since I am not a scooter expert I guess I'll need to research the difference between rollers and sliders and the pros and cons of each. Let me know how it goes....

Dr. Pulley Sliders are a different style of roller and can be used with your stock variator. The unique shape offers a variety of benefits:

Sliders engage up to 20% faster than traditional rollers. They allow you to engage in higher gear ratios.

Sliders last longer with much less wear than rollers because they slide rather than roll (hence the name!). Rollers and sliders should be inspected annually (at minimum) for wear. Rollers are especially prone to developing flat spots that inhibit their ability to move smoothly. If this occurs, they should be replaced. This is one advantage of sliders, as they already have flat sides and are not affected by this wear as much as rollers.

15  or 14 gram sliders,. 14 gram will allow higher rpm. at lower speed ,. 15 gram should be about the same as original rollers, at lower rpm. at higher speed you should have lower rpm.  I have not seen that much difference. over all,. I have about 15,000 km. on my sliders and I dont see any sign of wear,

The larger weight size will add top end only when you are doing other upgrades to make up for loss of bottom or take off.

The same is true for lighter weights, if you go too light you will need to make up for the loss on the top end.
yes the 15 g gives me a lower rpm at higher speeds i do alot of club riding we ride long distance i usually ride 400 miles every sunday avg speed 75mph

I went to https://www.buggypartsnw.com/

Which sliders are used for the DT 300i abs? Would my local scooter workshop know how to replace the rollers with these?
The Kymco DT 300i ABS is the best scooter you can get. I love it's carefree automatic ride. I would like to see kymco make a 600cc version but no heavier then the 300. I would buy it for sure
