And over time I have found that bag holder hook to be very useful in combination with a cloth bag I carry under the seat for carrying sundry groceries (or a cooler bag).

It is a holder for your purse or man-bag

Seriously, I have seen several broken ones on none-Kymco scooters, so don't hang a lot of weight on it.

Scoot safely,

On the DT300i, almost anything I've ever hung on it actually ends up sitting on the center floor hump. Given the short distance involved, I don't think I've ever had anything that actually hung from the hook so much as used the hook to keep it in place.

It's a standard feature on a lot of scoots, always positioned the height of a standard grocery bag above the floorboards. On "true" step through chassis, it works real well, you can hit the grocery store and have 2 or 3 bags hanging between your feet. On designs that have a center tunnel not so much because they hang to the sides of the tunnel and get in the way of your feet.
