Kymco Agility 50 Headlight
« on: September 02, 2013, 01:46:37 AM »
My headlight keeps getting blown out when I have to drive it in medium/heavy rain. Somehow water gets behind the plastic headlight cover and the bulbs ends up cracking. Is there a way to waterproof the bulb or is there a bulb other than the S2 12v I can replace it with that isn't so fragile? Also there are two small bulbs on either side above the headlight. These have never worked. Are they supposed to and if not what are they used for? Thanks.

There is no bulb that will stand up to water when hot, so you're going to have to find and fix the leak. On a dry day, spray down the front of your scoot with a garden hose and see where it's getting in from, then you will have a handle on how to seal it.

The extra bulbs are the non-US turn signals, they are not separated widely enough for US regulations so kymco add the extra ones on stalks for the NA market. A common tweak is to wire them up as running lights
