Super 8 150
« on: July 07, 2009, 04:45:08 AM »
as you can see i've stripped away some"un-necessary" parts-
and i wired the euro-turn signal housing up,added different mirrors, striped the wheels
and have a Yosh exhaust system on order.

Pretty nice!  I have the yellow/blue one.  How hard was it to do the turn signals?  If you have  your exhaust, how does it sound and how hard was it to install?  I took the stickers off mine, it was not too hard, just some finger nail and rubbin alcohol.

You can get them on ebay for a few $$$ and you will even get some spares.
Take a look at my gf's Agility 125:

Are you saying the stripes are "stickers"? I saw the post and thought they were Painted on...

Yes, they are always stickers, three segments for every wheel "times" two sides...
And they *stick* meaning they did not fall off even under pressurized miniwash...
Of course, before putting them on I washed the wheels thoroughly to remove dirt and grease.

That's Awesome! I paint for a living (boats mostly) and was going to paint the accents on. I had NO idea there are stickers. You know the saying "The shoe maker has no shoes" It took me 2 years to get around to painting my plastics. I still want to spray the wheels, and cvt cover, but since they are smaller it may take another 6 months. Just too cool for school.
